  Fibromyalgia Treatment

The previous post on fibromayalgia covered what this ailment is and the symptoms that come with it. This is the final part of this post and is on how people go about treating this dreadful ailment. Enjoy the reading today.

It is sad to know that there is no known cure for fibromyalgia but the condition can be managed with the help of your doctor. There has been so far no definite cause determined, your doctor might recommend more than one treatment option to help alleviate the painful symptoms of this condition. Many different approaches may be attempted before you find the treatment option that is appropriate for you.

It  is therefore important that there is clear communication between you and your doctor. It may also be useful to seek help from counselling or support groups with those who are familiar with your illness. Their support may aid you not only in understanding this illness better, but also in providing emotional support.

Alternative treatments

Acupuncture, massage therapy, and chiropractic care have helped some people manage symptoms of fibromyalgia. Currently, these therapies have not been scientifically researched in order to determine medical effectiveness.

Adopting appropriate  lifestyle  such as having adequate rest, regular exercises, healthy foods , physical therapy
and counselling may all help you manage  this condition.

Where supplements are recommended and or needed, I would suggest the following Aloe Vera based natural products: Forever Freedom - Aloe Vera with other substances that are helpful for the maintenance of proper joint function and mobility.

For good mobility
MSM Gel - Contains pure, stabilized Aloe Vera. Soothes joints and muscles.
A-Beta-CarE – a powerful anti-oxidant, repairs and maintains body tissues. Improves circulation and also helps with muscle and nerve maintenance.

Forever Active HA - one of the most powerful nutritional joint and skin moisturizing supplements on the market

Arctic Sea Super Omega 3 – Contains Polyunsaturated fatty acids, EPA, GLA, Omega 6-9.

Nature-Min - Needed for proper composition and body function.

Fibromyalgia is a syndrome related to arthritis. Like arthritis, fibromyalgia can create interference in normal activities such as walking, working, or recreation. However, while arthritis  affects only the joints, fibromyalgia causes pain to muscles, ligaments and the tendons.
